STRESS & BURNOUT THERAPY
Recover From Burnout Without Burning Down Your Life
Therapy for professional women running on fumes behind a competent, together exterior. Book a call today.
Retrain the Standard-Setting Machine
CBT targets the thinking that runs the overwork: the all-or-nothing standards and the quiet rule that your worth equals this quarter’s output. Those patterns are learned, which means they’re trainable—and training them is what makes rest possible again.
Renegotiate the Load
Burnout is rarely just a mindset problem—it’s a load problem. We’ll work the reflex yes at work, the invisible labor at home, and the over-functioning everyone benefits from except you, with DBT scripts you can actually use on Monday.
Rest Without the Guilt
If slowing down triggers guilt or dread, that reaction is the anxiety talking—and it responds to graded practice like any other fear. When faith matters to you, we'll ground rest in it too, rather than treating rest as something you have to earn.
NOBODY AT WORK CAN TELL
Looking Fine and Running on Fumes?
- The gap between your outsides and your insides is the real symptom. Do these sound familiar?
- Praise lands and slides straight off, while one piece of criticism runs for a week.
- Sunday nights carry a dread with no specific cause, and the laptop comes on vacation.
- You’re “fine” in every conversation and completely fried in every quiet moment.
- A vacation won’t fix this, because the motor comes with you. Structured therapy works on the motor — and most women don’t have to quit anything to get their life back.

FAQs About Burnout Treatment
Straight answers for high-achieving women who are running out of road. Not seeing your question here? Get more information when you book a call today.
Tired resolves with rest; burnout doesn’t. If a real break leaves you just as empty, if cynicism has crept into work you used to care about, and if the tank reads zero no matter how the weekend went, that’s burnout. It responds to treatment — and it tends to cycle rather than resolve when nothing structural changes.
Usually not. Most women recover by changing the pattern rather than the paycheck: renegotiating load, building boundaries that hold at work and home, and retraining the standards driving the overwork. If a genuine job change is the right call, therapy is a good place to think that through clearly rather than in a crisis.
Not the same, though they overlap and burnout can slide toward depression untreated. Burnout is context-shaped — it eases somewhat away from the source. Depression is everything-shaped: low mood or numbness that colors things you used to love, and time off doesn’t touch it. Sorting which you’re in is part of the first conversations.
With active work — load changes, boundary practice, nervous-system recovery — many people feel meaningful shifts within a few months of weekly sessions. The honest variable is whether the conditions that caused it change too. Recovery is a project, and it moves faster with structure and accountability than with willpower alone.
Yes! I offer secure telehealth sessions, so you can get support wherever you feel comfortable. Whether you’re busy, out of the area, or just need flexibility, virtual sessions make therapy easier for you.
I currently accept OHP. If you don’t have this insurance, no worries! Many insurance companies offer reimbursement, and I can provide a superbill for you to submit after paying upfront.
