COMMUNICATION COACHING FOR WOMEN
Learn to Say the Hard Thing Without Rehearsing It for a Week
Communication coaching for women who over-explain, go quiet, or apologise for taking up space. Book a free 15 minute call and let’s start with the conversation you are dreading.
At Work
Pushing back on a deadline, asking for what you are worth, telling someone their work is not right yet. We build the phrasing and rehearse it, so you walk into the room with something better than hope.
At Home
The conversations you keep postponing with a partner, a parent, or an adult child. We work on how to open them, how to stay in them when it gets uncomfortable, and how to close them without a truce that solves nothing.
With Everyone Else
The friend who only calls when she needs something. The group chat you cannot leave. Saying no once, kindly and without a paragraph of justification, is a skill — and it is learnable.
PASSIVE, AGGRESSIVE, OR ASSERTIVE
You Know What You Want to Say. It Just Never Comes Out.
- Most women I work with are articulate everywhere except the one conversation that matters. See if any of this is familiar.
- You write the message, read it back, and soften it until the point is gone.
- You say “it’s fine” and then feel it for a fortnight.
- You over-explain a simple no, and the extra reasons get argued with.
- You only say the true thing when you are finally angry enough — and then it lands badly.
- That is not a personality flaw. Passive, aggressive, and assertive are learned patterns, and the assertive one can be learned too.

FAQs About Communication Coaching
The questions I get asked most before someone books. Not seeing yours? Bring it to the free call.
No. Coaching is skills work — we build and practise what you say and how you say it. Therapy is clinical, it is licensed, and I offer it separately to clients in Oregon. If our call suggests therapy is the better fit for what you are carrying, I will say so.
Extremely. Assertiveness is not one setting you switch on. Most people have contexts where it comes easily and contexts where it collapses, and the collapse is usually where the relationship matters most. We work on the setting you are struggling with, not on a generic script.
The opposite, usually. Most conflict comes from things that were never said until they had to be said angrily. Saying the true thing early and plainly tends to reduce the number of arguments, not raise it.
We take a real conversation — one that went wrong or one that has not happened yet — and work on it directly. What you wanted to convey, what got in the way, what you will say instead, and then practising it out loud so it is not the first time when it counts.
Yes. Sessions are held over secure telehealth, so you can join from wherever you feel comfortable.
Most people leave the first session with one phrase they can use that week, and that part is quick. Changing the underlying habit — the pause before you soften it — takes longer, which is why packages run monthly rather than by the session.
