FAITH-BASED COUNSELING FOR WOMEN
You Shouldn't Have to Choose Between Your Faith and Real Clinical Care
Online Christian counseling from a licensed clinician who shares your faith. Book a call today.
Faith Integrated, Never Forced
You set how much faith belongs in the room—all of it, some of it, or none this week. Scripture-grounded perspective is offered as a resource, never prescribed in place of treatment. Your convictions lead; the clinical work supports them.
Licensed, Not Just Like-Minded
A Christian therapist is a state-licensed clinician who also shares your faith—that means graduate clinical training, an ethics board, and verified credentials. You get spiritual understanding without giving up the accountability that licensure provides.
DBT & CBT Underneath It All
The methods stay evidence-based: DBT for emotional regulation and distress tolerance, CBT for the thought patterns driving anxiety and guilt. Faith gives the work meaning; the skills give it traction.
THE QUESTIONS YOU'VE BEEN CARRYING
Wondering Whether Therapy Fits Your Faith?
- A lot of faithful women white-knuckle struggles that have teachable solutions. Sound familiar?
- You worry that needing help means weak faith — so you pray harder and tell nobody.
- You carry a chronic, vague guilt that confession and repentance never seem to touch.
- You’ve hesitated to see a counselor who might treat your beliefs as a symptom to work around.
- Prayer and therapy answer different questions, and seeking skilled help is stewardship of the mind you were given. Here, both belong in the same room.

FAQs About Christian Counseling

A Christian therapist is state-licensed with graduate clinical training and shares your faith — that means an ethics board, verified credentials, and evidence-based treatment. A biblical counselor typically counsels from scripture within a church setting and usually is not licensed clinically. Both can be meaningful; only one is clinical treatment.
Yes. Faith and struggle coexist throughout scripture, and getting skilled help for anxiety or relationship patterns is no more a faith failure than seeing a doctor for a broken bone. Many women find their faith deepens in therapy, because energy spent white-knuckling symptoms becomes available for actually living their values.
No. The clinical work is DBT and CBT — the same evidence-based methods any qualified counselor uses — and faith is integrated as a resource, not substituted for treatment. You will never be handed a verse in place of a skill, and never handed a skill that tramples your convictions.
Loving people and being consumed by them are different things, and only one is sustainable. An honest boundary is more truthful than a resentful yes — and resentment is what actually erodes relationships. Boundaries don’t end love; they end the quiet dishonesty of pretending you have no limits.
That’s completely fine and happens often. Faith integration is dialed up or down by you, week to week, with no explanation required. Some clients want scripture woven throughout; others want a counselor who simply understands the world they live in. Both are fully respected here.
I currently accept OHP. If you don’t have this insurance, no worries! Many insurance companies offer reimbursement, and I can provide a superbill for you to submit after paying upfront.
